国际学术大师校园行活动通知

应华北电力大学校长杨勇平教授邀请,诺贝尔奖获得者、美国加州大学伯克利分校教授、可再生能源实验室主任Daniel M.Kammen , 美国能源经济协会院士、斯坦福大学Precourt能源效率中心主任、管理科学及工程系教授James L.Sweeney,以及美中绿色能源促进会常务副会长张晓枫女士将于2017年11月20日(周一)14:00-17:00,在华北电力大学北京校区主楼D260进行学术交流,并做学术报告。本次活动由华北电力大学经济与管理学院和能源互联网研究中心共同组织。

  丹尼尔·科曼


  诺贝尔奖获得者,美国加州大学伯克利分校教授、可再生能源实验室主任 

丹尼尔·科曼博士是美国加州大学伯克利分校教授,同时任职于能源与资源集约管理学系、古德曼公共政策学院和核工程系。2010年被时任美国国务卿希拉里任命为第一个Environment and Climate Partnership for the Americas (ECPA) initiative能源院士。他是可再生能源实验室的创会理事,2007年任运输系统可持续性研究中心主任。他担任美国加州政府和美国联邦政府多个机构的专家和咨询顾问,包括美国环境保护署、美国能源部、国际开发署、美国科技政策办公室等。科曼博士是政府间气候变化专门委员会众多报告的主要作者,2007年诺贝尔和平奖得者之一。
2010年9月,科曼被任命为世界银行可再生能源和能源效率部门的首席技术专家。 2016年,科曼被美国国务院推选为美国科学大使。他拥有哈佛大学物理学博士学位。

詹姆斯·斯威尼是美国斯坦福大学Precourt能源效率中心主任,管理科学及工程系教授,美国能源经济协会院士(资深会士),系加利福尼亚科学技术委员会、胡佛研究所、Precourt能源研究院、斯坦福经济政策研究所的高级研究员。他是硅谷能源峰会主席,著名能源经济专家。斯威尼教授的主要研究领域是能源与环境经济政策分析,尤其专注于能效方面。斯威尼教授还是美国国家可再生能源实验室及加利福尼亚能源委员会石油市场咨询委员会外部咨询委员会成员。主编及参编图书包括:《自然资源与能源经济学手册》(三卷,与阿兰·尼斯合著)、《加利福尼亚电力危机》(加利福尼亚电力重组及后续危机分析),及《能源效率-构建清洁、安全的经济体系》。他曾任斯坦福大学工程经济系系主任。斯威尼教授拥有麻省理工大学电气工程学士学位,及斯坦福大学工程经济系统博士学位。

    
  张晓枫


  美中绿色能源促进会常务副会长

张晓枫女士是美国霍华德工业公司市场营销总监,中国区总经理。她在智能电网领域具有30年的经验,包括负荷侧需求响应、配电网电压无功优化、可再生能源、电力市场、能源贸易、电网自动化(EMS)、配电管理自动化(DMS)等多个方面。她在美国硅谷和世界著名的电力及软件公司就职多年,具有在世界500强公司中担任高级项目经理、产品经理、市场营销等的丰富经历,包括晶澳太阳能美国公司市场营销和行政管理总监,在美国最大的电力公司——太平洋煤气电力公司(PG&E)任高级项目经理,担任过ABB公司产品经理和中国市场营销经理、西门子(Siemens)和系统控制公司(SCI)任高级软件工程师。在此之前,她在北京中国电力科学研究院工作,负责最佳潮流(OPF)软件的开发。她的应用软件,赢得了国家级科学技术成果奖。她在中国电力科学院(CEPRI)研究生院获得工学硕士学位,并在电科院攻读博士学位。近年来她发表过多篇文章及演讲,是IEEE 2010年会智能电网“需求响应”专题演讲嘉宾;组织“智能电网,智慧城市”论坛 (2010-2015), 任主持人及演讲嘉宾。她是专辑书籍《电力市场和运营》的作者之一。
她多年来致力于推动中美科技交流,担任美中绿色能源促进会常务副会长,理事,2016和2017年美中绿色能源峰会组委会主席。她是IEEE高级会员,并被列入Marquis世界名人录。她一直致力于社区服务和公益事业,任“硅谷女性协会”理事会主席(2013至今);会长(2006-2008年),任期内与硅谷女性团队一起筹款建成四川省南江县硅谷女性小学。

Kammen, Daniel


Nobel Prize Laureate, Director of Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory (RAEL), University of California, Berkeley; 
Dr. Daniel M. Kammen is a Professor of Energy at the University of California, Berkeley, with parallel appointments in the Energy and Resources Group, the Goldman School of Public Policy, and the department of Nuclear Engineering. He was appointed by then Secretary of State Hilary Clinton in April 2010 as the first energy fellow of the new Environment and Climate Partnership for the Americas (ECPA) initiative. In 2016, he began service as the Science Envoy for U. S. Secretary of State John Kerry. Kammen is the founding director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory, and was Director of the Transportation Sustainability Research Center from 2007 - 2015. He has served the State of California and US federal government in expert and advisory capacities, including time at the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Department of Energy, the Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Dr. Kammen has served as a contributing or coordinating lead author on various reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change since 1999. The IPCC shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

Sweeney, James


James (Jim) Sweeney, Director of the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center of Stanford University
James (Jim) Sweeney is the director and founder of the Precourt Energy Efficiency Center and Professor of Management Science and Engineering at Stanford University. His professional activities focus on economic policy and analysis for energy and the environment, especially energy efficiency. He is a senior fellow of the US Association for Energy Economics, California Council on Science & Technology, Hoover Institution, Precourt Institute for Energy, and Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research. Professor Sweeney serves on the external advisory council of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and on California Energy Commission’s Petroleum Market Advisory Committee. Professor Sweeney was the co-author of Handbook of Natural Resource and Energy Economics, author of The California Electricity Crisis (an analytical history of California’s electricity restructuring and subsequent crisis) and of Energy Efficiency: Building a Clean, Secure Economy. Jim earned an MIT bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a Stanford PhD in engineering-economic systems.

Zhang, Xiaofeng 


Xiaofeng Zhang, Executive Vice President, US-China Green Energy Council (UCGEC)
Xiaofeng Zhang is the regional marketing director and general manager of China region, Howard Industries, Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in Smart Grids, Electricity Markets and Renewable Energy. She has worked with leading global companies. For example, she was Marketing Director, JA Solar USA; Sr. Project Manager at Pacific Gas and Electric Company; Product Manager and China Marketing Manager at ABB Inc. Previously she worked with the Chinese Electric Power Research Institute (CEPRI) in Beijing, where her research project won a National Scientific Technology Award. She served as a panelist at various Smart Grid conferences, in areas of “Voltage/VAR Optimization” and “Market-Based Demand Response”. She is a co-author of the book “Electricity Market Operation System”. She holds a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering, and was a PhD Candidate at the CEPRI. 
Ms. Zhang is a Senior Member of IEEE. She is Executive Vice President of UCGEC, and served as Conference Organizing Chairwoman for the 2016 and 2017 “US-China Green Energy Summit”. She is very active in San Francisco Bay Area communities and has served various non-profit organizations, including Chairwoman of the Board (2013 to present) and President (2006 to 2008), Silicon Valley Women Alliance (SVWA). She led SVWA and completed a charity project to build a Silicon Valley Women Primary School in Sichuan Province, China.
